- Schulman Blitz and the Corona Crisis
March 23, 2020Dear Clients, Friends and Colleagues: We are living through strange and unprecedented times. First and foremost, our thoughts are with those who are currently affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19). We hope that all of you, and your families, friends and loved ones are safe and healthy and are taking the steps to try to “flatten the curve” such as social distancing, washing your hands frequently, and staying home as much as possible. Although the courts in New York have suspended the vast majority of their operations, the Schulman Blitz, LLP team is safe and healthy and we are working remotely on our clients’ case. Although we are not in our physical office, Schulman Blitz, LLP is open for business and we will continue to seek justice for our injured clients despite these extraordinary circumstances. We are communicating with insurance companies, defense attorneys, doctors’ offices, mediation companies and we are trying to keep things as “normal” as possible. In fact, on Friday of last week, Jeff Liu from our office conducted a deposition in one of client’s motor vehicle collision case remotely using videoconferencing. It went very smoothly, and we will continue to use these alternate means to keep our client’s cases moving towards fair and timely resolutions. This morning, we conducted a meeting of our office attorneys and staff remotely where we developed a plan that allows us all to continue to work with as little disruption as possible. Please know that we are here for you. Please continue to call or email us at any time with any questions or concerns or concerns you might have. If you get our voicemail, please leave a message – we are all checking our voicemail regularly and we will call you back as soon as possible. As a reminder, our phone number is (212) 871-1300 and our email addresses are as follows:Fred Schulman – fred@blitzlawgroup.com Justin Blitz – justin@blitzlawgroup.com Stephanie Mastrocola – stephanie@blitzlawgroup.com Jeff Liu – jeff@blitzlawgroup.com Melissa Castillo – melissa@blitzlawgroup.com Anny Castillo – anny@blitzlawgroup.com Please stay home if you can, stay safe, stay healthy and look after your family, friends and neighbors – especially the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions. Wishing you good health, new opportunities, time to reflect, and some predictability in our future. Together we will get through this and we will come out stronger on the other side.Best, Fred and Justin.
