Our client was 16 years old, a sophomore in High School when, on November 30, 2015 while walking with a friend she was struck by a car exiting the driveway of a BMW dealership in White Plains, NY. As a result of the crash, our client was taken by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center and as given a toradol injection to the right deltoid. An X-ray was performed at the hospital and it confirmed a possible avulsion fracture of the right knee. Following his discharge, our client began a course of physical therapy and an MRI of the knee, performed at White Plains Hospital Center’s Department of Radiology confirmed a trabecular fracture.
