Honoring Juneteenth
At Blitz Law Group, we recognize Juneteenth not only as a historic milestone in the fight for freedom but as a powerful reminder of the ongoing struggle for equality and justice in America.
Juneteenth, celebrated every year on June 19, marks the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation had been signed. It’s a day of reflection, remembrance, and celebration of Black liberation and resilience.
What Juneteenth Means to Us
As a personal injury law firm serving diverse communities across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, Juneteenth is a moment for us to reaffirm our core mission: fighting for justice for those who have been wronged, harmed, or overlooked by the systems meant to protect them.
Legal injustice, racial disparities in healthcare, housing, and policing, and unequal access to legal support are real — and they continue to affect minority communities in the tri-state area every single day.
We believe legal representation should never be a privilege. It’s a right.
Our Commitment to Minority Communities
Whether we’re representing clients who have been injured in a car crash, harmed by medical negligence, or wronged by a government agency, we never forget that our work exists in a larger social context. For many of our clients — particularly Black and brown New Yorkers — the fight for justice doesn’t begin or end in the courtroom.
That’s why Blitz Law Group is committed to:
• Providing free consultations to ensure every individual has access to legal guidance
• Taking on high-stakes cases against powerful entities like the MTA and City of New York
• Supporting clients with compassion and transparency at every step of the legal process
• Using our platform to educate and empower our community about their rights
Justice Is Still Worth Fighting For
Juneteenth reminds us that progress takes time, persistence, and courage. It took over two years for the promise of emancipation to reach all enslaved people in the U.S. Today, the pursuit of racial justice and equity continues — and the legal system plays a crucial role in that journey.
At Blitz Law Group, we’re proud to be part of the movement toward justice — one case, one client, and one victory at a time.
This Juneteenth, we honor the past and recommit to building a future rooted in dignity, accountability, and justice for all.
